children and youth in Central Texas
to complete and enrich their
academic education.
The Capital City Fund for Education (CCFE) was formed to provide financial assistance to Austin Independent School District’s Homeless Education and Learning Program (AISD’s Project HELP).
CCFE's status as a (501)(c)(3) nonprofit corporation allows donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support Project HELP’s mission to provide financial, academic, and social/psychological assistance to students experiencing homelessness.
Two of Project HELP’s top priorities for the 2007 school year were accomplished when CCFE funds were used to hire one case worker and one assistant teacher.
As CCFE grows and Project HELP expands, additional funding will provide more tutoring and academic enrichment services directly to kids in need.
